Introduction

Most kitchen projects pass through several different companies before they’re finished — a designer, a separate equipment dealer, an installer, and eventually a repair company once something breaks. Every handoff is a chance for something to get lost.

HRI runs design, equipment supply, installation, and service through one team. Here’s what that actually looks like on a real project.

Summary · Key Takeaways
01
Design, equipment supply, installation, and ongoing service all run through the same company — no handoffs between vendors who’ve never talked to each other.
02
The team that installs a piece of equipment is often the same team that services it later, which means less relearning when something needs attention.
03
One point of contact from start to finish means fewer surprises about who’s responsible when a question comes up mid-project.
04
This model shows up the same way whether it’s a single equipment swap or a full build-out — the structure doesn’t change with the size of the job.

What “One Team” Actually Looks Like
Three things change when design, supply, install, and service all sit under one roof.
01
Design That Talks To Install
When the people drawing the layout are the same company installing it, equipment placement decisions get made with actual delivery, clearance, and utility constraints in mind — not just how it looks on a floor plan.
02
The Install Team You’ll See Again
Because the install team and the service team overlap, a technician showing up for a repair call often already knows the equipment, the layout, and sometimes the specific unit — not just the model number.
03
One Call, Not Four
A question about a delivery date, an install detail, or a service issue all go to the same place. Nobody has to figure out which of four different companies is actually responsible for the answer.

One team. Every step. No handoffs.

Questions

Q01What does “full-service” mean for a commercial kitchen supplier?

It means design, equipment supply, installation, and ongoing service are all handled by the same company, instead of being split across separate vendors who each only see part of the project.

Q02Why does it matter if the same company designs, installs, and services equipment?

Each stage informs the next — design decisions account for real install constraints, and service calls benefit from a team that already understands the equipment and the space, rather than starting from zero.

Q03Does HRI only take on full build-outs, or single equipment jobs too?

Both — the same integrated model applies whether it’s a single piece of equipment being swapped out or a complete kitchen build-out from the ground up.

HRI Commercial Food Service designs, supplies, installs, and services commercial kitchens — restaurants, hotels, schools, and institutional kitchens — across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York, all under one roof. Start the conversation.
